Thanks. As for the not being well...I actually feel pretty good. I had surgery on my shoulder.

Hi ladies,

Mornings are one of my worst times, I have gotten so acustomed to the sugar and caffeine fix of a mocha everyday. It's going to be hard to break!

Here is my list of what I plan on eating for the day today.
Breakfast
2- eggs with green pepper, red pepper, onion, mushrooms baked in the oven.
Green Tea ( hopefully this will help with my caffeine cravings)
Water

Morning snack
Low-fat chees stick

Lunch
Romaine salad with baked chicken breast, cucumbers, and balsemic vinegar dressing
Water

Mid-day snack
30 Pistachios

Dinner
Lonon Broil- cooked over the BBQ with spices
Broccoli

Dessert
Mocha Rocatta- I'm gonna try it out!

I usually drink at least 68 oz of water a day, due to the fact that I am still BFing my 3 month old. So I will try and up the water to 96 oz!

Happy Day to everyone, we can do it!!!

Summer, looks good, but try throwing in some beans for good carbs and fiber (they really help in Phase 1) and get some veggies in during your snacks. They'll fill you up! A great way to do both is to make some 3 bean salad (there are several recipes in the forum) and have it for a snack. Yum!

Laurie, Thank you for the great suggestions!! I will definately add more veggies, and look into making a bean salad. I really appreciate the help. I was thinking that the snacks were light, and that I would still be hungry!

Glad to be here though.

hey cashus, i'm new too, just got here yesterday.

oh summer i'm so jealous you are able to diet and still breastfeed... when i was nursing, if i ate one calorie under 2000 a day my milk started to disappear. that's great you can do it!

i'm at day 3 and today is actually a bit easier than days 1 & 2, but it's still hard for me. i'm still dreaming of cereal and not sleeping well at night. i keep saying to myself, you can have a small bowl of cereal in 11 more days!!!

This day has been hard, but it's almost over!! YEAH! I am glad to hear that after each day it gets a little easier...

HoosierHeather- Before I started SBD I was taking in approx 1500 calories a day, as long as I keep up on water, my body seems to produce the amount I need to keep him going. I just have to make sure I am getting vitamins and the nutrients he needs during these 2 weeks. He is my 3rd child in the past 4 years! (Yikes! that sounds scary), so my body is pretty use to it now. LOL.

Tami, I can't WAIT for this day to be over! I'm doing well, too, though!

CASHUS, you're in the right place! Join us on any of the threads... you're very welcome!
We have a daily thread (it'll say something like, "TGIF on the Beach!" or "Wednesday Chat!"), and lots of other threads of interest.
As for abbreviations... what do you want to know?

I can't believe it! After the tortuous OP day yesterday, I fully expected to be down five pounds. (I'm not)

Islander, good luck!!

Aimee, I'm bound to do well if someone is watching me.
Keep us posted on how you're feeling.

Jeez, Ellis, there must be something wrong. Most people lose at least ten pounds after a day OP!
Note to Newbies: I'm kidding!
