Hello everyone it has been a long time since I have posted I have been doing okay, not the best I could have done but have not completly went off track. I was at wal-mart last night and flipping through the updated book and guide book, I have a question it says that the slim-fast shakes are Good for phase 1 2 and 3, if so which ones the optima ones or the regular or low carb? It would be so much easier to grab a shake and some veggies in the morning, what do you all think about the new foods? Take them or leave them?

Good afternoon! I only have a minute because I am at work, but I was going through 3FC withdrawals as I haven't been able to get on here today!

RUTH: Good luck with Sarah later today. Wish we lived closer! My son would love to work with you!

ELLIS: My ex husband used to have a way of dealing with people when they talked like that. He would make his hands do that gesture where you are imitating someone talking and he would lean forward and go "Blah blah blah blah blah...that's what I'm hearing right now".... okay..so it's rude... i never said he was the most polite person... he is my ex for a reason! LOL

PHINS: Water aerobics sounds like a lot of fun! Do you "feel" it when you are done? Always wondered that because water stuff "seems" so easy....

Well, my son's concierto was last night. According to the program, they are the FIRST high school band on the record books to perform the 3rd symphony.. they did an awesome, awesome job. I was sitting there with tears just rolling down my cheeks... my mother always loved music like that and I wondered if she was watching him. I could see her so clearly sitting in her chair the way she used to, smirk on her face, just listening. I couldn't help but think she was watching with my daddy and that she was just beaming with pride. Ohhh here I go getting all teary eyed..not good...

Anyway, I guess I need to get back to work... not that I want to, mind you...

I'll try to check in later tonight. We have company for the week and they kind of take over the computer and tv while they are here... And I just sit and smile and keep my mouth shut (right, Ellis??? )

Hugs, ya'll!!

I know it feels like I've been missing in action (maybe not to you, but I've missed ya all) Just sitting here in front of the computer when I have 1000 other things to be doing. My third child gets married tomorrow, reception on Friday and Open House on Saturday.............ugh.

Oldest daughter flies in sometime tonight. Oldest son flies in sometime tonight with wife and grandbabies. 4th oldest got home from Advanced Army training last week, found out on Saturday he's being deployed to Iraq.

Anyhoooooo, needless to say, I've gone to where comfort is the best...FOOD! I'm not even stepping on the scales until Monday. Then I'll face the music. Right now it's survival of the fittest....I think.

I look forward to slowing down and enjoying the board again soon! Hugs to all!
