tasty "crackers"
Hi. I'm not sure if someone posted something this in the recipe section but I thought I'd share what my boyfriend made me for a snack last night - he knows I'm doing SB and he's been very supportive. Actually, I got him into eating WW pasta and bread and he's down about 10lbs just by doing that!
Okay so here's his "tasty treat" as he calls it:
Take slices of cucumber as a "cracker" and either spread on Laughing Cow Light or put on really thin slices of your favorite LF cheese (I like cheddar the best) and then top it with some sliced turkey (or anything else you want).
I'm sure many of you have done something like this before but I never though to use cucumber and I thought I'd share. I felt like I was eating crackers again and it was yummy!

Your BF is a gem!! WOW!! What a great guy!!
Here's another tip for veggie snacks:
I use celery cut into thirds and spread hummus or s/f peanut butter on them. Very filling and legal for phase I and II!! Celery is a natural diuretic too!!

I also like to spread Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus on my cucumber slices.

Wow, I never thought about using cucumber that way! Great idea, Bobo!!! I agree, BF sounds like a major keeper...so are you keeping him?
Bobo, are those guinea pigs in your avatar? I love GPs!!! That wheek, wheek noise is so darn adorable!

Yes, they're gorgeous, Bobo! Our kids have two guineas (we call them "the babies"), and they squeak everytime someone opens the fridge.

Yep they are piggies! Actually, my name "bobolvr" is for my 1st guinea pig "Mr. BoJangles" aka "Bobo" and I loved him so much that I thought I'd name myself "bobolvr."
I call my 3 new piggies (Flo, Macaroni and Cheese - can you tell I love that food?) my babies too. We share lots of veggies and they wheek every time I come in the room. They think I'm the Food-getter.

Yay for keeping a good man around!
I have two rabbits and many of my fellow "rabbit-slaves" (trust me, you don't "own" these critters! ) also have GPs, which they affectionally term "Gimme Pigs"...as they constantly say, "Gimme, gimme, gimme!"
They are wonderful little guys! Love the names, Bobo!

I am also on a guinea pig message board and we call ourselves "piggie slaves". That's so funny that bunny people do the same thing.

LOL...I figure most GP's have the same Napolean complex that all bunnies have...the smaller you are, the bigger the 'tude! I think only Flemmies (Flemish Giants) are laid back and lacking in 'tude.
Hey, if you have to be a slave, being one to a furkid is pretty nice. : Here's a pic of my two:
