Question SBD approved? What do you think?

Hi, I thought I posted this yesterday but maybe my computer is just stupid. Anyway I heard of this new "pasta" - it's called Tofu Shirataki. It's made of tofu and yam flour. I was just wondering if anyone thought this would be okay for P2. I thought it might be but i'm not sure.
4oz. of this pasta is only 20 calories - not that it matters really on the the SBD but I just thought that was pretty cool.

These are the ingredients listed on the website where you can get them:
Filtered water, tofu (soybeans, calcium sulfate, glucono delta lactone), yam flour, calcium hydroxide

What do you think? Hopefully it looks okay and would be another alternative to whole wheat pasta or to spaghetti squash when that's not in season.
Thanks!

Looks OK to me for Phase II. Yams are not the same as sweet potatoes although the names are used interchangeably. However, yams are lower in calories and carbs than sweet potatoes so I'm sure they would be OK. Could you please let us know the source. Thanks.

We can buy these locally at Asian markets. Really good in soups or stirfry bowls

The site I got the nutitional info is:

I picked up a few packs today at the Whole Foods by me and I'll try them this weekend or the beginning of next week as a stir fry like AZLowcarber said.

Here is the thread we talked about these noodles once before. They are interesting. I tried them, I felt they were too expensive to be an every day thing and didn't taste good enough for a special treat. (I'm very frugal <cough cough> ok, ok, I admit it, I'm down right cheap )

Be very careful and check the expiration dates when you buy them. I got mine at a small Japanese market and most of the packages were past the expiration date. I don't know if it really expires or not but I dug around and found a package that was fresher.
