Morning Everyone. The weather here is rainy, but it could be worse. There could be wind with the rain. As of now, it is just a gentle April shower. I'm sure the farmers will enjoy the rain.
Lady - Sorry to hear about your friend. It is really difficult to realize that these people that we remember as vibrant active people have become so dependent upon their care now. She is so lucky to have a friend like you that she can rely on in times like this. Take care of yourself, too.
Bamiegurl - Every time I read about someone going out to drive kids, etc., I recall an incident that happened a few years back. My husband used to own a gas bar in the city in which we live and was working one Sunday morning. It was quiet and one of our regular customer's wives drove in - in her pjs, robe and curlers. She was out of gas, had driven her husband (who is a dr.) to the hospital to deliver a baby. As she needed gas, she had to stop to buy it, before she could drive back home. She was apologetic about her attire and nothing more was said. A few weeks later, we met both of them at a restaurant. Her husband came over to our table to chat, with her in tow. As he was introducing his wife to us, my husband made the comment - Oh yes, I didn't recognize you with your clothes on. She was stammering explaining to her husband about the baby delivery and the gas incident.

So...just be careful when you go out in your pjs.
Tar - Know what you mean about the mini terror. I had one like that...I spent the entire day chasing behind him to make sure that he didn't hurt himself or destroy the house. By evening, when DH came home, I was exhausted and had nothing constructive to show for my day...except maybe the house was still in tact.

However, there were some days that DH came home to the terror sitting on the step with his suitcase packed. It's always been the unspoken comment in our house - your suitcase is packed, mom's had a really bad day.
Ruth - Looks like you still have a busy day and busier weekend. You will probably find the scooter easier to garden with. I have always used a plastic stool in the garden - I sit on the stool and garden between my feet. It is much easier on the back and no strain on the knees.
lc - Looking forward to the pics of the trees. Don't work too hard tonight. Have a great day.
2BFIT1 - I like your goal of being more organized this year. I really need to go through my 'junk' at home and organize and throw away stuff that is not needed. Where do you find the course that you are taking?
HottieInHiding - Congrats on keeping the morning schedule going. Remember, it takes 21 days to develop new habits, so some of the early days, won't be very pleasant.
Sunnybunny - Good morning to you. Have a great day.
ellis - Have a great breakfast, and enjoy the extra $$$$.
soon2Bfab - Don't slap yourself with a wet noodle, you are doing fab. Just be persistent and keep up the exercise, water and OP eating. It will come off, but sometimes, you just need some patience.
beach bum - Congrats on the weight loss. Keep up the walking/jogging and it will be off in no time. Take care.
On Walking - Do exercise caution when walking...I get the stitches out today.

By the way, I am attaching a pic that one of my co-workers took this week when I was on my way back from the track. Not great, cause I'm not very photgenic, but it is an 'after' picture. I will try to find and post the 'before' picture that was my inspiration to lose weight.
Me - Well not too much going here. Miss puppy is finally on the road to recovery. She is over the 'feeling sorry for herself' stage and is trying to get some games going at home. Of course, she is not allowed to play yet, but hopefully we can start to have a bit of fun with her next week. Not much else, other than I do get my stitches out today. The wound is way too sensitive to touch for the stage of healing it should be at, so I will need to get the dr. to check it today. I'm not even sure that he will be able to take the stitches out it is so sorem which is not usual for me. I don't know, but I guess will find out.
Hope everyone has a great day planned. Take care of yourselves, too.
