Ok, as many of you ladies know, I am competing for the title of Mrs. WV this weekend. Ok....So I had sent out invitations to about 50 family members and friends to attend a month or so ago. I had a huge response and many people were going to come. My pageant director knew that I sent these out then.
However, she didn't mention that she would change the itinerary.....
I get an email from my pageant director
this morning that the time of the pageant has been changed....3 days before the event to an EARLIER time! I spent my morning screaming and calling my friends and family to notify them of the time change. Now, I have found out that a few people will not be able to come, INCLUDING my MOM AND DAD!!!
Dad had a few people quit at his store this week and he is very short staffed. He has to work on Saturday and there is no one to switch with him. He gets off work at 6 and would have had time to get to the house to pick up mom, drive 45 minutes to the pageant to see me with the previous timeslot. Now, with the time change, the pageant starts before he even gets off work. My mom doesn't drive, so it looks like my parents won't be able to be there.
Good thing is that as far as I know, my aunt, my biological mother (the other mom is my stepmom whom I am very close to), and some ladies from my church, and some friends can still come.
I am just very upset that the director would do this to the contestants 3 days before the event.
Let's just say that I will be glad when this crap is over and I will NEVER do anything like this again. This pageant has been nervewracking from the beginning. Our director is an unorganized U Know what!!!!
I plan to complain to the national office next week. The national director should know what my director is doing...or should I say..not doing!!!

I did lose a little from yesterday...either water weight or regular fluctuations.... Back on phase 1 today and will stay on P1 until after the pageant is over. then back to p2. I have stopped drinking soda until after the pageant and drink only tea and water. LOTS OF WATER!
My clothes still fit for the event, so that is a positive!!!
