I just had my first weigh in on Phase 1 since I started last Monday (1 week ago). I lost 5 pounds.

I have also been walking a mile a day.

I am so amazed at how many things have sugar in them. The SBD has made me very aware of everything I put into my mouth. Did you know that even seasoned salt has sugar???? Why??????? No wonder we are an overweight, diabetic bunch of people. I never even knew I was putting most of it in my mouth!
Anyway, good luck ladies. Every single pound counts. I compare my 5 pounds to 5 pounds of ground beef, or 20 sticks of butter........it really makes a difference!
