Tonight I'm having grilled chicken (from the George Foreman) on a bed of lettuce and veggies with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Last night I tried the "shrimp and zucchini fry" that I found on this board. Thanks to whomever added that - it was so good!

I thought the only reason tomatoes are allowed in phase 1 was because of their acid, since they are a fruit. Now I am confused. I wonder what the GI is of those non-acid ones.

I never even thought about it. I thought all non-starchy veges were allowed.
