Heather, Nala,
It's eerie - I'm 33, PCOS, and getting on the baby train too! Small world. I've been PCOS diagnosed for about 2 years, but without really working on it at all. My Reprod. Endocrinologist gave me the benefit of the doubt when I told him I didn't want to get on Metformin unless I had to, and we agreed to meet again in 6 months to see if I could lose a chunk of weight and possibly start ovulating regularly and get preggo without a lot of intervention. So, I've got a vague deadline of May to see how that goes. I really don't want to have to take all that junk, but I will if I have to; DH wishes we had been parents 8 years ago, whereas I needed this time to come to grips with the idea - but I want to have my own child if I can, simply because I think the experience of pregnancy will be valuable for me. Just when I'm mentally ready, now my plumbing is giving me trouble, sheesh!
Cheers, just wanted to chime in!
