I think it's great too. I also think it's great that she's so supportive. My last SO of 3 years wasn't as supportive. Hope it's not just the honeymoon phase

I just talked to her and when I get out of here (LOVE MY NEW JOB) we're going to go for a walk. There is chicken in the fridge that I may grill (hmmm, wonder what marinade) on my small GF Grill and have 2-3 veggies (frozen!). Sounds fast I guess.

$49 must last me through the weekend and into Friday! CALGON....

Bump for GrannySmith (and any others that are wondering about the South Beach Diet products made by Kraft).

Hi guys... We must be a test market here.. I have had the cereal bars, cereal and the meals, very tasty... I dont eat them every day, but are nice to have around, the bars have 10 grams of protein in them.... In the frozen meals, I like the chicken ones, most are accompanied by healthy veggies... India

Just adding my 2 cents about the Kraft High Protein Cereal Bars. Last year these were marketed under another name (maybe Carbwell, can't remember) and I bought them for as snacks for my DS who is very active- Sports, running, and lifting daily. Seeing how much protein they had I began to eat them occasionally. Well occasionally became daily, I believe the ingredients include maltose- "The king of all sugar" per Dr. A in his book, and I also think these may have been one of the first steps I took to regaining 10 of the 20lbs I initially lost on SBD. I know I made the decision to reach for them and to put them in my mouth and eat them; but after a year and a half and a return to strict SBD guidelines I am realizing how truly addicted to sugar I am, So... no cereal bars for me!

I had the "savory beef" frozen dinner for lunch yesterday...blech! I have been eating so much fresh for the last two months that I forgot what frozen dinners taste like. And 50% of my sodium for the day? The broccoli was good, I would have rather had 3 portions of that!

I will not be lazy and just cook my own from now on!!

Jessie

I'm with you, Jessie and 2bt! The processed meals don't taste as good and the ones that do, like the bars, are WAY too easy for me to OD on!

When I started SBD, I realized, for the first time, that if I wanted to lose this weight and keep it off, I had to stop eating the types of food that got me there in the first place. So no more chips, no more cookies, no more cereal/protein bars. I have an occasional SBD-safe cookie on the weekend, but that's about it for me. That's made all the difference.

I've never found those protein bars filling...instead they make me hungry, hungry, hungry! I definitely can't eat them!

LOL, Kyemom! Glad I'm not the only one...

Autumn, that's happened to me too. My e-mail recently started using a quarantine program that catches 'spam' and allows you to whitelist things you want to receive. The Daily Dish gets caught over and over and over because the e-mail address is different every time. If you have any spam filters on your e-mail, that may be the problem. Try contacting SBD online and see if they have any ideas...or mess with your spam filter. Frustrating!

Thumbs down Frozen Dinners

I've tried 2 of the frozen dinner - the pork one and the chicken one! I have one word, "Yucky!". That's the best word to describe them. It's like they're trying too hard and have them way over seasoned and the sauces are just plain horrible! Too many weird flavors. I am a person that appreciates spices and seasonings but they need to tone it down. Yuck!

I give them 5 barfs. lol.

Totally agree. I'm closing this as it's an old thread and we have a new Kraft thread.
