Default "Best Of" SBD Recipes

For the newbies, could the "vets" kindly share what they think are the best tasting recipes from the ones posted here and in the SBD books...This would be such a big help for those of us wondering what to make...

(My vote --and the only recipe I've tried -- is for the Taco Bake...it's wonderful!)

Thanks all for the support

These are from the recipe forums:

Entrees - Phase 1
Taco Bake
Chicken Capri (also in the cookbook)

Soups and Stews - Phase 1
Quick and Easy Spicy Chicken Soup

Freezer/Make Ahead Meals - Phase 1
Simple Eggplant Casserole

Miscellaneous - Phase 1
Sweet-and-Hot Garden Mix Pickles

Breakfast Ideas - Phase 2
Whole Wheat Muffins - 7 Ways

Entrees - Phase 2
Ziti with Broccoli Sauce
Ham with Vegetables and Pasta
Shrimp Creole (could be phase 1 if served over a veggie instead of rice)
Red Snapper Courtboullion (could be phase 1 if use broth instead of wine)

Side Dishes - Phase 2
Zucchini Patties

Soups and Stews - Phase 2
Broccoli and Cheese Soup to Die For! - we eat this all the time
Hearty Pasta and Bean Soup

These are threads within the South Beach Recipe Section:
Low Carb Holiday Dessert Recipes - look for Easy Cherry Cheesecake

South Beach Cookbook - Phase 1
Sesame Ginger Asparagus (also good with green beans)
South Beach Teriyaki sauce
Five Spice Salmon
Big Easy Shrimp (I like my Shrimp Creole better though)
Ginger Chicken
Beef Kebabs with Peanut Dipping Sauce

South Beach Cookbook - Phase 2
Creole Gumbo (if skip flour it would be phase 1)
Five Spice Chicken (would be phase 1 if you use arrowroot instead of cornstarch)
Meatballs with Tomato and Zucchini Medley (I make this often)
Mexican Lasagna
Sage and Rosemary Pork
Garlic and Soy Grilled Pork Chops
Whole Wheat Vegetable Lasagna (sometimes add lean meat too)

For breakfast I usually have oatmeal or yogurt or zucchini/mushrooms/onions mixed with an egg or a whole wheat muffin

These are my favorites:

Phase 1: Souffle Stuffed Chicken (SBD Cookbook), Stuffed Pork Chops (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum), Portobello Pizzas (Blue SBD book), broccoli with carmelized shallots (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum), Surprise South Beach Mashed "Potatoes" (Blue SBD book), Nutty Summer Squash with Asiago Cheese (SBD Cookbook), Beef Kebabs with Peanut Sauce (SBD Cookbook), Tomato Avocado Salad (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum)

Phase 2: Pan Roasted Steak and Onions (Blue SBD book), Lemon Couscous Chicken (Blue SBD book), Grilled Sweet Potatoes (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum), Lucious Lime Shrimp Salad (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum), Oven Fried Chicken with Almonds (SBD Cookbook), Chicken Burgers (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum), zucchini patties (I second Barb's motion on this one!)

Dessert: Peanut butter cups (Fat Chicks SBD recipe forum), apple with peanut butter, sugar-free fudgesicle

You'll notice a conspicuous absense of breakfast recipes.... For me breakfast is usually one of or some kind of combination of the following: 1-egg omelet, a boca burger (NO BUN) w/ low fat swiss (sounds strange, I know, but it fills me up), oatmeal w/peanut butter and splenda, Sunrise Parfait (Blue SBD book), 1/2 can green beans, poached egg w/whole grain toast....OR leftovers from dinner.
