Thumbs up I did so good :)

On Mondays my ds always buys dinner. It's always fast food, he doesn't get home until 7:30 pm from work, Well, I just finished a Hardee's low carb burger plain. I added my own cheese and onions. So it had beef, onions, lettece, low fat cheese. I didn't even take a french fry. Now if this will power would contuniue I just started on the 1st with SB. I was thinking of this while on the treadmill of what I was going to order and what I was going to do. With telling him what I want, my mouth doesn't change it's mind when I order. Plus, I think it helped being out of Headache city today. Even my face is looking clearer.
Well, time to get settled for the evening. Making a ham & mixed bean soup for tomorrow in crook pot.
Have a good night everyone.

Congratulations Chipper!

I have been told there is a difference between WILL power and WANT power. I sometimes come to the point where I feel my WILL power wavering, and then I look at my goal posters showing all of the things that I WANT and it helps me refocus on what is really important! I know you can do it! We all can!

Thanks guys. Today is already starting out to be a tough day. One of the gb is a gruppy little 4 yr old this morning. She misses her daddy. He went away on business yesterday for 2 weeks. Then mommy leaves for work. Today is shot day also. She has to get monthly shots for allergy to fire ants. She has been getting them since she was 18 months. I know she is just tired of getting them. I always take her. I will not eat!!! I will not eat!!!
Check back with you later.

Good for you, Chipper!

Just be aware that fast food burger meat does not qualify as lean...it's full of tons of fat. For instance, just the patty for a 1/3 lb Thickburger (the smallest plain burger I could find on the Hardee's website) has 340 calories with 27.9g of fat, 12.6g of which is saturated. And honestly, that's not that bad compared with some of the other fast food burgers I've seen!

Not during Phase 1, which is tough enough, but when you make it to Phase 2, you may want to see if your ds could find some healthier choices. Pick up a salad at a local grocery store? You could make pizzas on WW tortillas or pitas? Salads or soup from a local place? Or even something in the slow cooker. Eating that way isn't good for him either.

Nonetheless, the fact that you didn't touch a fry with all that temptation in you is something to be very, very proud of!!!
