Smile Introducing myself

Hello. I'm not new to South Beach. I started doing the beach in March/03. Did real well and lost 35 lbs. Last Thanksgiving was my downfall. I was true to the diet up to that point. I splurged on the holiday and was not able to get back on track. I gained 30 lbs. None of my clothes were fitting. I felt bloated all the time.

I started back a week ago. I lost 6 lbs. I love this way of eating. My first try, I lost a total of 8 lbs on Phase 1, so this time it's going much better. I know it's healthy and it's the right way to eat. Wish me luck.

I used to post with 3fatchicks, years ago, when I was doing WW. I just hated having to count points. That is what I love about South Beach. Nothing to count.

Look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi Pam,
Welcome aboard. I on day 6 phase 1. So far pretty good. No horrible cravings, but just missing breads and pretzels, that kind of crunch. Don't eat raw veggies but they wouldn't do it anyway. Look forward to phase 2 and some crunch. After losing so well the first time around, you probably have some good suggestions. Look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome, Pam! We've had several discussions lately about how to make it through the holidays. I did discover tonight that I can make cranberry sauce with Splenda and it is easy and good! I'll make some of that as well as have regular so people can choose.

Hey girl welcome to the block!

God is big, so we expect him to speak with the voice of thunder or lightning or earthquake or fire. But God often expresses his powerful love in gentle whispers. Listen for God's whispers as well as his shouts.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have my sister visiting for a week, so I won't be able to visit much. Will try to join in the discussion when she leaves. Take care.
