Default *** November Exercise Challenge ***

I'll go ahead and start the exercise thread. For those of you who are new to this, you would post your goal and then come in and edit your post whenever you exercise. The person with the most minutes becomes the Exercise Queen for the month.

November goal : 1200 minutes.

I'm in again this month. My goal for the month is to do 75 minutes of cardio 5 times per week and strength/flexibility training 3 - 4 times per week.

November 1 - 75 minute cardio workout
November 2 - 75 minute cardio workout
November 3 - 75 minute cardio workout plus 75 minute lower body workout
November 4 - 90 minute upper body workout plus 75 minute cardio workout
November 5 - 75 minute cardio workout
November 6 - 0
November 7 - 90 minute lower body workout
November 8 - 75 minute cardio workout
November 9 - 75 minute cardio workout plus 90 minute upper body workout
November 10 - 90 minute lower body workout; 75 minute cardio workout
November 11 - 30 minute walk with dog
November 12 - 20 minute walk with dog; 4 hours cleaning new apartment (up and down the ladder since the ceilings are 12 feet high and walls needed to be washed, light fixtures taken down and cleaned and cupboards cleaned out)
November 13 - 0
November 14 - 0
November 15 - 45 minute cardio workout
November 16 - 75 minute cardio
November 17 - 90 minute upper body workout; 75 minute cardio workout
November 18 - 75 minute cardio workout
November 19 - 100 minutes lower body workout; 75 minute cardio workout

November 22 - 45 minute cardio workout; 25 minute cardio workout
November 23 - 0 (can't believe I missed a day, but just not feeling like it)

Total so far - 145 minutes

November 1 - 60 minutes weight lifting (shoulders), 10 minutes elliptical
November 2 - 0 minutes (ugh)
November 3 - 0 minutes (ugh again)
November 4 - 0 minutes (ugh yet again)
November 5 - 75 minutes weight lifting (legs and abs)

I'm not sure how this works, but will give it a try.
400 minutes

Nov 1- 40 Minutes...20 upper body, 20 walking

Nov 30-I went to the doctor and got a diagnosis of PPS. (Post Polio Syndrome) I've been down for most of the month but with muscle relaxers and Ibprophen am feeling better. I had to give up my gym membership as the machines are too hard on my muscles, but will be starting a walking program within the next few days.

OK. Here goes. I want to join the fun and my goal will be 800 minutes of cardio activity for the month. I will also do some weight training.

GOAL = 800 minutes
