Lucy snuck into labour early and Morna didn't want to call me at 2 AM. She had six pups, one girl and five boys and knew exactly what to do! Morna and John were eating reheated pizza as they attended to her and Lucy INSISTED on having the pizza crusts even in the middle of labour. (Can you tell she is my dog?)
I'm off to see my new great grandpups and the new mother.
Congratulations!!!! Please take pics. I luv tiny puppies, it is really neat to watch them learn so much in the first few weeks. Have fun with them....(said in a vein of complete jealousy )
By the way, my minister named Harry and I Grand Dog and Grand ***** when he announced Hershey's puppies. Since Lucy is one of Hersh's pups, I am now Great Grand *****!
I took some pictures but they don't look like much more than a pile of fur so I'll wait until they are a bit older to post.

I'm so happy that all went well, and Lucy must be elated now that they're finally here! Sounds like she's going to be a great mama, just make sure she gets plenty of rest now. Just think, she'll be home soon!
