So I went to weigh myself this morning. And yes, that is a HUGE deal for me....Walk into the bathroom and whaddya know? The scale is gone. Apparently it was "shot" in my mother's words so she tossed it. I'm hoping she's bringing home another tonight and maybe I can work up the guts to get on it tomorrow.....

Just thought I'd vent.

Sarah, I'm sorry about that! However, there's always the tape measure... :s: I was terrified of that darn guy, but I finally did it and I wish I had taken the plunge earlier...you'd never believe the inches you'll lose!!! :D

I think I'll do that tonight. Does it make a difference what time of day you measure yourself?

I weigh at the gym and my gym uses digital scales that run on batteries. A month ago or so, all the scales at the gym were out of batteries. They have a scale in the main area and a scale in each of the locker rooms. When I found out that the scale in both the women's locker room and the main area were dead, I went up to the front counter and asked what was going on, they told me they were out of batteries. I offered to go into the Men's locker room to weigh if they would let me, they said that one was out of batteries too. I am such a scale ho...

Mine busted to. I kept stepping on the scale and it said the same darn weight even though my clothes are a little looser. Today I stepped on the scale after two days time of being mostly OP and it said that I gained 10 pds. Don't think so! So I went to DBF and was adament that the scale was broken.

He weighs approx 180. He decides to step on the scale to prove to me that it is'nt broken.....and it let him know that he now weighs 230 pds. :rofl: We just looked at it and finally he says "Uhm, yeah, I don't think so.....it's definitly broken."

Can't scale shop for awhile, maybe this is a good thing.

I love these stories! Mine kept giving me an Error...I guess it was tired of weighing me. :lol:

Now I have the dial kind, so it has no choice. ;)
