I am in Emporia -- about halfway between Wichita and Kansas City. Like I said on another board -- we have a ton in common! Newlyweds!

Are you from Kansas originally? I am from Kansas City and just moved here in Dec. to be with DH. (Well, he's from KC too and we met in KC but here moved here 2 years ago and I just came in Dec.)

Yeah,

I have lived here my whole life...I'm in Newton actually. I am pretty familiar with Emporia. I dated a guy for 5 months and went there almost every weekend. I like the town a lot. Especially the way the train tracks are overhead on some of the streets. Not here!!! Tracks run through town. LOL. You are so right, we do have a lot in common!

Yaya -- You are not far from me at all! My brother's fiance is from Newton. Do I remember that you are about 28? That's how old she is -- I wonder if you would know her!?!? That would be so crazy if you did!

She was just in Newton this weekend with my brother for her ten year high school reunion! Her name is Kim (I won't post the last name for security's sake, though!) and has red hair. In case you know someone from that class!
