You guys are crackin me up. I actually got to elevate my legs for a few hours last night , as I had NOTHING I had to do. I'M ON VACATION!!!!! Thanks for all your help everyone!
What can also really help is a Lidocaine spray. Some Aloe products also have a Lidocaine additive. Its a topical anesthetic and can really help get he sting out and help soothe and heal. Most stores like CVS, WalMart, Walgreens, Brookes, they should all have some. It works wonders. So, a ginger from me and the ladies here and I'm sure, and I hope you feel better!
I know Noxema sounds crazy but when I was in college, I went on a sailing trip without sunscreen and I got a slight sunburn. One of the girls brought out some of her Noxema and said it was good for sunburns, I used it and it cooled my skin. I just went and looked at the ingredients and no wonder, it has camphor and menthol, both things good for cooling the skin and for stopping itch.
cocoa butter in a good lotion will help to reduce any scaring
my youngest DD burned when she was 3 what was I thinking
just try and stay in out of the sun
and remember that the rest of summer you need to be very careful
and make sure to keep your skin covered because it can be very senstive to the sun
for a while depending on your skin type
me I look like a ghost. blonde and blue eyes
my tan comes out of a bottle
I have been burnt so bad i had to lay under a sheet with no clothes on
just take it easy and dont weigh till the swelling goes down
swelling is your body tring to heal itself by keeping fluids in your system
so use a good lotion and drink plenty of fluids.
