Fruit can't really make you gain weight per se, in my opinion but all that sugar can add up if you eat that in addition to carb loaded meals. The purpose of not having them in phase 1 was to rid you of your cravings, he never really said they would make you fat. We are even allowed to have a medium banana now. I think the whole idea is have it in moderation. I could easily eat three oranges in one sitting but I know I can't do that.
I wish I was steadily losing. I haven't lost for almost 2 weeks. I wish I just knew if it was a normal stall or if I was doing things wrong. All I know is that I cannot add fruit without getting ravenous later, no matter what time I eat it. So maybe that is why, I eat fruit and crave more food in general, thus getting fatter,
