Me, too -- I'm on the "not much more to go" side after dumping about 17 pounds. I'd like to lose between 5-10 more, but no more than 10. I agree that it's the whole lifestyle thing. It's nice that getting slim comes along for the ride -- probably I wouldn't do it if it didn't The hardest thing for me has been the time it takes. Right now, my sister has time to devote to SB for us all, but once she goes back to work, it's going to take real effort!

I am a slow loser too. I have been working at losing this for 5 years, had some set back, just few pounds that would be pluses but its been very slow. As of last Saturday at Weight Watchers, I had lost 110 pounds. I dont get alot of exercise and I know that would of enhanced the weight loss but during all this time my eating habits have changed. Now I quit eating when full. I dont overstuff myself now. I am supposed to have several small meals according to my physician assistant since I have low blood sugar and I have to watch what I eat. But I feel a lot better than I did. So to all the slow losers, keep it up, it will happen.

Ruth, if you're a turtle, I'm a snail on valium.

You'd think that with 60 pounds to lose, I'd be dropping at least 2 pounds a week, but I'm lucky to lose that much in a month.

I exercise 45 minutes a day (weights and aerobics) 5 days a week, eat to plan with only the occasional slip up. And as of 2 weeks ago, I've been making sure I get my 4 cups of veggies in. And I drink as much water as I can. I don't always get in the requisite 80 oz...but I try.

It's EXTREMELY frustrating for me. Only a total of about 10 pounds in the last year. I'm beginning to think there's something wrong, metabolically, so on Friday, it's to the doc's to discuss things.

Good luck to all of you.

You can count me in this club. The lowest I'd ever want to weigh is around 145, so that makes me at 23 pounds to go, but really I'd be more than happy between 150 and 155. At that weight I fit fine into a size 10 jeans, and I look good there - curves and such. If I get much lower, my hubby starts to complain!

But it's going slowly. I've been on SB for about 4 weeks now, and I've lost a grand total of 7 pounds. Better than nothing, but I'd hoped that I'd lose 8-10 in the first two weeks. But I'm sticking to it, since the scale always seems to be pointing in the right direction.

My fluctuations tend to be just a quarter or a half pound each way. For a while the scale was always in the 169 range, now it's in the 168 range, so I guess things are good. And considering the way I used to eat - I've cut my food by about half - I figure this HAS to work.

I plateau about every ten pounds... It can be so frustrating when it lasts for a long time, but I try to remind myself that the slower I lose, the more likely it is to stay lost. My goal has been to be at 150 by DH's class reunion in July, which means 25 pounds to go in about 20 weeks. Since I tend to lose about 4 pounds a month (or 1/week) I'm not sure I'll be reaching my goal in time. But maybe I'll be better off in the long-run?
