I'm new to SBD. I have been following the diet since April 30 and have already lost 5 lbs. I originally spent 5 months on Atkins and was doing well, but my cholesterol shot up to unhealthy levels. No amount of exercise or supplements helped. So here I am, with South Beach and so far am loving it!
Welcome Slmjm!! And good luck on The Beach. I also tried Atkins first but just felt way too unhealthy sitting down to a dinner of pepperoni and cheese or a bowl full of meatballs!
