Another Newbie

    Just started SBD on Sunday. So far, so good

    I have about 90 lbs to lose. I've done WW in the past & actually had lost a lot of weight. That was in 1992, but of course I gained it back . Since then I've joined & rejoined but have never had the success that I did when I first did it.

    I chose SB b/c I've seen how well it works. My mom actually started Labor Day weekend 2003. She lost 15 lbs & still is maintaining it. All her bloodwork has improved & she has control of her diabetes (sp). Right now she is teetering with Phase 2 & 3 only b/c she doesn't know if she wants to lose anymore (she's within a normal range now).

    Now it's my turn & can't wait to see some positive results from my new way of eating. I look forward to meeting & learning from everyone.

  • Welcome to the Beach, Jo! Several of my family members are on SBD, too, and we give each other support. My mom also has diabetes, and her doctor is amazed of the way she's been able to cut back on her meds. Good luck!
