Hello there everyone! My friend told me about 3FC and I was so excited to see that there is a beach here. I like to get online later in the day and evening to keep my fingers busy otherwise I am tempted to snack.
I started the SBD 22 days ago and I have lost 14 pounds!!
My starting weight was 382 and as of yesterday I was at 358.
I have been on and off weight watchers for about 3 years. While I think the program is great, I finally had to accept the fact that it just wasn't something that worked for me. My father started Atkins in January and has lost 40 lbs. While I wasn't too crazy about the Atkins philosophy, it did make me think about the kinds of food I was eating. I looked over my food journals and realized that 80% of what I was spending my points on was fruit, pasta, bread, etc.!! That same day I was babysitting for a friend and notice the SBD book on a shelf. I thumber through it and liked what I read. I was too embarrassed to ask her about it when she came home but I went to Barnes and Noble and bought the book. I decided to start on March 29 - the day before my 30th birthday. I wanted to enter this new phase of my life actively making changes to my health.
My ultimate goal is to get to a healthy weight so my husband and I can start trying to have a baby. So that's me. I'm looking forward to sharing on this forum and wish you all continued success.
