Here's what i ate, pls tell me if its ok!
2 eggs fried (w/ cooking spray) with some orange bell pepper
2 pieces turkey bacon
garden salad with chicken breast (think it was steamed or boiled, similar to the kind at subway but not grilled)
only a couple hours after lunch i got really hungry
so i had my snack. i'm really not used to eating just salad (even though there was chicken) for lunch.
i had to go to an apt at 530 and wouldn't get home till around 7 so i got a green bean, portabello mushroom salad from whole foods to tide me over. it was ok, but the barley and cous cous type salads were calling my name!!! (can't wait for phase 2, lol!)
while i made dinner i was starving so i had some sunflower seeds as a snack, i know that might be over what they recommend but i was dying with it being my first day and all. lol.
anyways i made chicken breast marinated in this knorr low fat ready made marinade (i hope this is ok!) sauteed with bell peppers and onions. ate with some black beans out of the can, drained.
also had a small salad w/ cherry tomatos as an appetizer.
sugar free jello, which was not bad considering i HATE aspartame. (hate the after taste)
anyways i have to say it wasn't all that bad except for maybe the after lunch period when i couldn't believe how hungry i was after eating. and of course i had loads of water throughout the day. not a prob for me since i never drink anything but water anyways. so all in all i think i did pretty well (i think). thanks for the encouragement, this board is awesome!
