Hi. My dh and I are sort of starting the SBD today. With Easter coming we will stick to Phase I through Thursday then proceed with the weekend. Therefore we will do Phase I for 3 weeks. I have dabbled with SBD for awhile now and keep ending up at weight watchers. I am having a hard time sticking to anything but with my dh needing to lose weight for health reasons SBD is best for him. So hopefully we will have mutual support and be able to stick this out!! I have the book, but also just joined the official SBD website to help with menu planning. I'm kind of lazy with menu's and I think this site will really help me. I am also stay home with my 2 young kids and things get kind of crazy around here. I look forward to all the support I hope to get here and I can't wait to get to a better lifestyle!

Pull up a chair next to me! My DH and I started the diet Jan.26, and he's lost 35lbs.(cheats alot!) and I've lost 31lbs. so far. I"ve had a few weekends when I've cheated a little, but then go back to Phase 1 and lose it in a day or two. I aim to be at my goal of 130lbs. by June 1, and I'm pretty sure I can do it.
You've come to the right place to start your diet. There's so much help and encouragement here, and LOTS OF LAUGHS!!! I try to check in several times a day to get the encouragement I need to keep going.
