Some of our members have received a PM from someone in the UK doing a research project. She wants to use material from our site, and requests that anyone NOT wishing to have their posts used to please email her.
She also claims to have the "okay" from the moderators, which is NOT true. The moderators are opposed to her using our posts.
This is unacceptable procedure. Anything you write in these forums is copyrighted to YOU, and no one can use it without your permission.
If you receive or have already received a PM from this woman, the choice is yours as to whether or not you allow her to use your posts. However, you are not obliged to participate in her project, and Suzanne and Jennifer and the moderators have not given her permission to go ahead with this.
