Default Still running to the potty!

Wow - this diet is worse than beer drinking! I was up all night running to the bathroom. I thought I'd be 5 lbs lighter - but no.

And with the metamucil before every meal - holy cow!

Why are you taking Metamucil? Maybe that's the problem.

Ohh - It's not #2 that I'm runing to the potty with most of the time! I've been passing a LOT of water! Like 5 times at night and hourly during the day. Somebody said that's normal for phase I. Did you experience it?

The book mentions taking metamucil before every meal once we get into Phase 2, so I decided to try it out now. That's not too terribly bad though.

Whew! It's just youir body dumping excess fluid. It does get better after a while. Just keep on glugging the water.
I'd hold off on the Metamucil until you think you need it.

I have loaned my book out so I can't look it up, but i believe that Dr. A suggests taking the metamucil to help with the "full stomach feeling" that might decrease the appetiteand help with learning portion control. Just be sure to be drinking LOTS of water when you use this, so that you don't become bloated and uncomfortable.
Stacey, hang on to your motivation and keep it up with the treadmill. If you do, then you will start losing the fat quicker and it won't ALL be water loss.

Stacey
This is good, you probably retain lots of water, you should notice a weight loss and feel less bloated during this time.....

I love a good flush!!!

If I'd known this was going to happen, I'd have given up carbs years ago! I can't wait to get on the treadmill today - unfortunately the heater repairman and my son's teachers are going to take up most of my time today. Oh, Well!
