I am in week two of SBD, and made bad choices today at my family picnic.
I did so well my first week. Lost 5 pounds.
Today even though I did eat my salad and skinless chicken...I did sample some potato salad and dessert.
Did I ruin everything???? Or can I start anew tomorrow?
Sweetie, do NOT fret. Just jump back in tomorrow, and all will be fine. Dr. A says not to beat ourselves up over cheating occasionally. We all do it... you'll be alright.
Deets, if I restarted phase 1 everytime I ate "off plan," I would never get to phase 2! As it is I am sorta stuck on phase 1.5...most meals are phase 1 friendly, but with room for a few phase 2 things. Ellis is exactly right...the "human factor" is built into this WOE!
Be PROUD that you KNEW what you did was not a healthy choice and by admitting this to yourself and to others you will be better prepared for the next time....there will be others...but they won't be as bad.
Remember the 3 bite rule!

Today I am back on track (9-2) and feeling better about the choices I'm making.
It really did help to "fess up" to everyone ...and then move on.
Hopefully, my mistakes will not be as big next time!
