Default *****Springtime Exercise Challenge- April****

Time to get your exercise goals in for April. The weather is so nice that it will motivate me to do more outside.

I didn't hit my target for March but was very close. I am going to go for 1200 minutes in April

Goal- 1200 minutes

Count me in and thanks for starting the thread. I exceeded my mileage goal by over 60 miles. With May right around the corner, I am aiming for 250 miles.

1. 20 min indoor cycling 5 miles 20 sec plank
2. 50 min indoor cycling 11 miles 20 sec plank
3 1 hr indoor cycling 13 miles 30 sec plank
4 25 min indoor cycling 5 miles 30 sec plank (easy day prep)
5-8 zero did keep up with plank challenge

9 25 min indoor cycling 5 miles 1 min plank
10 1min plank
11 2 hours indoor cycling 27.5 miles 1 min plank
12 50 min indoor cycling 10 miles 1.5 min plank (76.5 mile) only 173.5 to go lol
13 45 min indoor cycling 10 miles plank 1.5 min plank
14 1.5 min plank
15 1 hr 35 min cycling 22 miles rest day plank
16 2 min plank
17 2 hrs 10 min cycling 30 miles 2 min plank
18 1 hr 45 min cycling 20 miles

I'm going about this a different way.

I'm going to aim for 2 sessions of weights (usually 20-25 minutes), 4 cardio, and 2 sessions of yoga. The yoga is new for me, but I think the stretching/flexibility is going to be important as I get older.

I will try a workout everyday, 30 min approx. I have a bunch of videos i will use, these include cardio and weight training. Time to get in shape for the summer!

I plan to do a one hour session at the gym three mornings per week - treadmill, machines, weights, etc.

I'm starting a little late but as of April 8th my exercise goal is to reach 8,000 steps on my Garmin each day - it will be a challenge since I've only met that amount of steps once so far in April. ;-)
