I got a full night of rest and I'm up and at Em. Weather is mild. DH is feeling better. We're heading up to the project at 9. The good news is I finally showed this place to the couple who have been chomping at the bit and they want it as of Feb. 1. That is such good news! Now to get it finished so we can move on to #3.

Today is my long day, hopefully not so long as Tuesday. DH is out of town, so I'll have the kids until late (when do I make DS' cookies?). Nothing too exciting though - just tracking Christmas gifts on their way here . We did have UPS bang (LOUDLY) on our door last night at 9 pm ~ they sent our new credit cards. Apparently, I am not truly Ms. "Ikeia Deshaun" buying $148 of ********** per month (on auto renewal!) with expediated shipping. LOL...thank goodness credit card companies don't make you pay for those things...

Oh, I am laughing that it is automatically censored the name of what this chick bought. It's a diet shake.

Good morning, Debbie and thanks for starting us up.

As soon as it's bright, I will be taking off for the city to get the rest of the stuff that I missed on Tuesday's trip. One essential is a stopper for the kitchen sink. I suspect I have thrown it out in a mess of veggie peelings. Actually I'd have composted it but there's no way to check as the compost bin is under a foot of snow and frozen solid.

By the time I get back Donna should be here cleaning unless she has another "family situation". Her aunt is on life support and she may have to look after her mother. Donna is a the non-medical Florence Nightengale in her family and is the one they always call.

Yesterday I saw the end of the major wrapping tasks. I had a huge and heavy box to wrap for my son but solved the problem. I wrapped the empty box but left the top open. I put it on the floor, Moel put the stuff inside, I sealed it and he carried it to my car trunk to stay there until delivery. Whew! There is a solution for every problem.

Time to gather up the trash, bundle up and horse it to the curb. I also have a card and tip for Steve who is a great guy who works for the Township. Gathering trash is such a dreadful job but he does it with a smile and wave even on the most miserable days.

I'm in full Christmas mode here. I had Maggie's concert on Tuesday and Amber's concert last night, and today I'm taking Audrey Christmas shopping before her violin lesson. We're not going to have a lot of time, though, so I'll probably have to take her shopping again on Monday. I'm off tomorrow and have to get one more present, and I plan to spend Saturday wrapping presents. On Sunday my SIL's are coming over to help make gnocchi for our Christmas Eve dinner, so it's going to be a busy. Also, my DGD, Caitlyn, gets in Saturday night, and I'm hoping she comes over on Sunday. It's been a year since I've last seen her!

I am home all day and thrilled to not be running around or working. Lot's of head scratching and belly rubs for the pups. I do need to unload the car from my trip to Kohl's and finish wrapping. Tomorrow I am working then off until Sunday. A little OT comes in handy this time of year.


There will be absolutely NO eating Christmas cookies for me today. If I admitted how many I ate yesterday, I would probably be censored lol.

Good morning Well it's the first day of vacation and I'd like to say I just got up. It wouldn't be true but I'd like to say it Today is an errand day. Cricket has a much needed grooming appointment. How can one little dog get so stinky It's great that she is a real dog and not a little fru fru thing, but she does smell bad right now. I'm sure she thinks she smells great. Tomorrow is my first day on the vacation project while Tim is off to work.

Ruth - Tim actually snow blows a path to the composters. Problem is it doesn't break down much in the cold. Happy shopping

Jennifer- I'm doing better with the Christmas cookies than Tim is. Yesterday he got on the scale and was a sad boy. We will both be hopping on Phase 1 after the holidays. I've been giving those cookies away as fast as I can but we still have too many in the house.

Guess I'll start the day with a healthy, high protein breakfast to keep us away from those cookies.

Good morning. Lots of early chicks today. Or am I late?

I workout today since my trainer is leaving town tomorrow for the holidays. Last workout with her before my trip and maybe until my mom is cleared post-surgery. It is rather expensive to pay for it myself.

I work this afternoon again. I think I'll get dinner going in the crockpot first. All this eating out is not doing me any favors.

Drat! We did get more snow last night and I need to wait until Richard ploughs me out. Getting stuck in my very narrow lane is NOT an option. Oh well - there's lots to be done around here.

Busy here with meetings didn't get my hair cut last evening as my hairdresser had to call of for family emergency so I colored my hair instead. If I don't get a text soon from her I will have to cheat on her and go to a quick place as I cannot take much more without a trim.
