Hello all! I am new to this forum and I hope I am posting where I should. There's so much to see and read, and I know I am in the right place to get support for my weight loss journey. I found 3FC when I was searching for some recipes for phase 1, to have more variety than eggs and chicken. So glad I did!
I've been following South Beach for about a month now, and I am down about 10 pounds (16 for the year). I have always struggled with weight, in fact, I can't remember a time when extra pounds weren't a problem for me. I am a junk food addict, but over the past month, SB has helped me break most of my horrible eating habits.
I think I have finally found a diet/lifestyle I can live with, and at the end of my road I hope to be down to about 140. But my mini-goal is to lose 50 pounds (I started 2013 at 241 and now I am about 225) and reach 191, because I plan to reward myself with a splurge on a super pair of cowboy boots!
