Default Help-fluctuating daily

Help! I am following SBD and I am fluctuating every day. I weight myself in the morning and one day I gain and the next day I have lost. I've done the SBD before and didn't have this problem. I am tired of fluctuating. Please help!

Some fluctuation is normal, it's just the way your body works. Normal daily, monthly cycles, if you have eaten more salt than usual, things like this impact your weight. Weight loss isn't going to be seen as a straight line, but more of a general downward trend. Don't drive yourself crazy worrying about every little blip. Daily weighing isn't a good idea for everyone (me, for example) for just this reason. Maybe you want to go to a weekly weigh-in.

How much fluctuation are you seeing?
Life's a journey, not a destination.
It's easier to stay on plan than to get back on plan.

I've had as much as a 4 pound gain (which we had a high fat family dinner the night before) to losing 3.6 pounds at yesterday's weigh in. I know I am not drinking enough water...could that be it too?

I like weighing myself daily because I see the fluctuations, and don't freak when I have one (well, maybe a little freak, but not a big freak). I gain weight with TOM, eating bacon, a hard workout, and ovulating. And other things too. I'd bet you didn't eat a 14K meal to gain 4 lbs, so it was probably a really salty meal.

I've been having the same issue - down a pound and up a pound. In the last 4 days I seem to have lost and gained the same pound several times.
While I know these flactuations are normal - it does get frustrating sometimes. But I just have to tell myself that as long as the general direction is down I am on the right track.

S/C/G: maintaining

Weight loss isn't linear. Given all that fluctuating, maybe you should only weigh yourself weekly.
