I started P1 a week and a half ago, and I've now cheated twice - once because I couldn't refuse a piece of my 85 year old grandmother's birthday cake. Will this affect my progress through P2? I regained 2 pounds after I ate the cake, so I'm worried that cheating will stall my weight loss. I've lost 6 pounds on P1 already - should I restart it just to be sure?
I still have 20 pounds to lose - I'm at 144 right now, and I want to hit 120-125 by the end of the summer.
Life, as in birthdays, happens and we do go off programme sometimes. (I prefer that term to "cheating".) However, I would suggest an additional week of a PURE Phase I. This should knock out any cravings that might recur and help you transition into Phase II and meet your goal.
