Well, I DID get the day off. From my Day Job, anyway. But there's plenty to do around the house. I gave Jake a much needed haircut, and we all pitched in to tidy the house. Then Jake and I snuck off by ourselves to the diner for lunch and a trip to Home Depot.

Chelby, my little sweetheart is 4 years old and will not leave Grandmom alone. He's practically sitting on my lap right now as I type and asking a million questions. I keep encouraging him to go see what Grandpop's doing, but he's more infatuated with the Smilies.

Big sister Amber is sitting quietly reading a book. I can't wait til Tyler is old enough to do that.

Cottage - my son LOVES all the smilies on here (and dancing veggies...) and he's 8!

Cottage, I adored Auston when he was 4. (Not that I don't adore him now.) 4 was such a sweet age. I was his favorite then. Now, his dad is his hero and I'm just his avenue to clean clothes and his barrier from eating Totinos every meal.

yes, 4is an adorable age. When my grandson (4 1/2) was here and I was putting him to sleep, he wanted me to name all the planets. Its a good way to brush up, I couldn't name them all. Also, he is in all day jr. kindergarten, five days a week(from 9 to 3) which is a french immersion one, its in the public system. My DD intends to enroll him in French immersion thru grade school. Should be interesting since neither parents speak French but then we are a phone call away.
take care
Sophie
