Default Hello, new to SB and excited!

Hello everyone. I stumbled upon this forum last week and am sooo grateful for it. I'm only 26 but I've been "dieting" since I was 11 so I've pretty much tried it all but have never been able to stick to anything. I absolutely love the foods that I'm able to eat with SB and have found that I can cook a lot of the same foods and just modify some ingredients. I have about 80lbs to lose but my goal is 50 for now. I think it's great that there are forums to get advice, support, and just be able to talk to other people in the same boat as I am. I started on Monday and have followed almost perfectly so far (I have a hard time with the 2 TBSP fat, how am I supposed to cook AND eat a salad?). I have also started going back to the gym. I was doubtful of the claim that I could lose 8-12lbs in 2 weeks, but guess what? It's day 3 and I'm down 3 lbs! I'm more motivated than ever now.

Sorry if this is a long intro but I am just so ready to lose all of this weight that I'm giddy from the thought of it. Thanks for reading!

Jessica

Hi Jessica! It's nice 'meeting' you! There are lots of great recipes on this site. Salad is easy and healthy, but optional.
