Hello, I am sure everyone is done but wanted to post. Crazy day today, DH had face surgery to remove a cyst and replace with a bone graft above his teeth on skull so was at the hospital all day. Good news is while I was waiting I just worked since it is a hospital in our health system so I could just log on to the network and it was like working from home.

I have been doing great food wise- I made a bet with DD1 to motivate her to not eat any sweets- if we eat anything we are not supposed sweetwise we have to put a dollar in a cup and whoever loses the most weight before we go skiing gets the cup. She has been gaining weight and not very happy with it, it is helping her and it has kept me on track because I have been offered sweets probably 7 times at work this week and I look at and it's not worth eating so I pass.

Hope everyone is doing well. Chelby your post from Monday about Auston, I realize DD2 is getting a bit chunky so I am doing the same thing, monitoring and giving her better food choices and I limit her when she grabs a sweet no more unlimited. I have never forced food on my kids and have always allowed them not to eat if they were not interested as I wanted them to learn to eat when they are hungry and not just because it's mealtime and clean your plate as was done when I was growing up.

Have a good evening I will try to get on in the morning tomorrow.

I slept till the alarm clock went off this morning, and didn't stop all day! Busy is a good thing.

It snowed here for about 15 minutes. Huge, fluffy, wet, white snow. That was enough. Bring on spring.

Hope to talk to you all in the morning.

Pearlrose, This week, I have been allowing Auston to have one treat after dinner instead of unlimited grazing. He seems to be okay with that. I've also been sending him healthy snacks for school. He actually has been happy with crackers and cheese or apples and peanut butter.

I know that he is in a growing spurt. This morning, he was upset because his cowboy boots don't fit any more.
