Default Discovery: soy nuts

Recently I've been reading how a serving of WHOLE soy foods, i.e. tofu, edamame, soy nuts, is good for women of a 'certain age', i.e. my age. My local middle eastern market has roasted soy nuts (roasted without fat) and they are SO delicious - crunchy, salty. I put garlic powder and black pepper on them and they are so good. Dr. Weil recommends a serving size of 1/4 to fulfill this daily portion.

Anyone have experience, thoughts, comments negative or positive on soy nuts? They are also super cheap @ $1.60 per pound.

I like soy nuts, but I find them easy to overeat (like regular nuts). I eat them as my nut serving for the day, if I have them. But I tend to like other nuts more so I usually go with those instead.
