Flying through! Work was great! I love exercising and bringing home$$! DH is napping but I'm going to try and persuade him to hop into the Glenwood mode. We need to check on our place and I have to be back to work Sat. AM. We could be sitting in the hot springs with snowflakes falling on our heads by 6pm. Anyhow, see ya'll tomorrow.

Chickadeee, I can't eat oatmeal for breakfast or lunch or I turn into a craving maniac. That's why I stick to a protein smoothie every day. We're all different. after my experience w/oatmeal I never tried anything else..

Ok girls, do I find Protein Smoothies in the receipe section on the forum.

And I think I will stick to 2 eggs with a veggie for breakfast, but a smoothie might work for me for lunch. Thanks as always.

Today is my last day of phase 1. I am worried that adding carbs are going to bring back my crazy cravings. I am hoping for the best!

Chickadeee, if I ate breakfast at 5 am, no matter WHAT I ate, I would certainly be hungry again by 9:30! That's 4 1/2 hours, and your body is telling you it's time for a mid-morning snack. Grains don't bother me in the morning. My favorite breakfast is oatmeal, and I usually eat between 7 & 8am, and it gets me through until lunchtime just fine. I do know that everyone reacts differently, though. My real comment is the 4 1/2 hour time span.

I don't know if there's a specific recipe but if you search this forum and,I think, the whole foods forum for "green smoothie" I bet you will find some of our concoctions

I like smoothies when it's hot out but I do my best with the same breakfast most days - 1 whole egg, 1/4c whites, 1 T ground chia, lots of whatever veggie I can find, usually greens or broccoli. If I have rf cheese or goat cheese I'll top with that and some salsa. That's the one breakfast that holds me all the way to lunch, whenever lunch is.

ETA: this might work http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/sear...archid=4673700 though I should have searched for green monster
I often go 6-7 hours between breakfast and lunch so maybe that's why I eat such a big breakfast

You know I never thought of the amount of time that pasted, I usually waited until 11:00 to have a snack, so I need to watch that. I should probably have my snack at around 9:00 than something again at 1:00. Thanks.

Twynn, Come see me! We'll sit on the deck and have hazelnut coffee. Sparkit would like to meet you, too!

Karen, I say "fixin' to", too. It's okay to read my posts with a slightly Southern accent.

Kim, Shopping with my BOY child is a challenge. Your sweet baby girl may love shopping. I remember when Auston was a baby in his 'pumpkin seat'. He would smile at everyone in the store. Those are sweet memories. By the time he was 3, He was staying home with Daddy.

Evening gals,

Rough day food choice wise - I hate traveling with all the temptations!! - But like Chelby, I did it! Donuts were not involved.

Tomorrow starts early (for me anyway at 7:30a) and doesn't end until my flight lands back in DC at 10:30p. Another long day. This morning started with my meeting space not being ready, a snarky meeting manager, incompetence, technical hiccups and grrrr monkey!

Feet have blisters and other stuff I will saved for my locked personal online journal but I can't wait to get home! And I work FROM HOME on Friday, yay!!! I did hit the gym here last night ("gym defined as free weights and one treadmil :lol3)!

Have a good Wed night/Thursday!

Thank Cyndi, I always stayed away from protien mixes because I can not do soy products, but I will have to experiment alittle. I just need to be sure this will hold me over til mid morning, I don't want to get hunrgy at work and hit the snack machine.

Thanks for the links and the info on these ladies.
