PS - as far as the too big clothes go. I used to participate in an online chatroom similar to this with a group of women who would send their clothes to each other Worked great, I got some skirts and work pants out of the deal...he he

And thanks for all the compliments! Still not used to the closer fitting clothing!

Last night in my plane seat, I felt like I wasn't spilling over into my neighbor's seat as much!

I went goodwill shopping today. I had no idea what size to get so I ended up getting various sizes to try on ranging from 20-26, and just for kicks I got a pair of 18's to try on.

Well the 26's were WAY to big!! The 24's too big too, the 22's a little loose, 20's fit almost just right and the 18's tight but I got them on and zipped.

I just stood there looking at myself in those 18's in amazement. I almost decided to get them after I got done picking my jaw up off the floor. I have not been able to fit in an 18 since I was 18! I'm 33 now btw.

I didn't get the 18's because they were too long. I didn't buy anything because I think I just want to keep using my belt for a while. I'm having a hard time letting my big clothes go for some reason.

hypno! That's amazing!!! What a range of sizes!!! We have a goodwill down the block. I am thinking I might have to take a gander too.

I know how you feel about letting go of the big clothes. We're supposed to transfer winter from summer clothes today and for some reason, I have a hard time donating anything that is too big. For one, because I am scared that by next summer I will need them but for two, it will leave me naked!!!

I think you and I are in a similar boat (and weight and body shape!)

This is sort of silly but ... my wee dog can now jump up on the chair beside me as there's room! Then he gets on my lap. Jumping right onto my lap was too high for him.

Also, yesterday I gave my wonderful purple wool winter coat to someone because it was way too big for me. I always felt like a princess in that hooded and fur trimmed coat but now it's just sloppy on me.

hypnodat! That must have been thrilling! I bet you are still on Cloud 9 after that eye-opener!

Ruth, I hope your special coat went to a good home at least! Yay for having room beside you for one of the pups to share the chair with you!

Love everyone's NSVs...fantastic that you are fitting into smaller sizes and watching your old clothes become obsolete! Also Ruth...that is not silly! That is an amazing reminder of how much smaller you are

Well my most important NSV is staying on plan, avoiding all refined sugars and carbs for a full month. Truly an amazing achievement for someone who had a diet primarily consisting of carb-heavy takeaway and entire tubs of icecream *shudder*

Also I went down a size in jeans (Australian size 16 to an Australian size 14). Hoping to get down to a 10...

Hi everyone! Great NSVs! Everyone should be so proud of every victory, no matter how "small"!

Mine would be sticking with Phase 1 without any issues (cheats) an entire week! (I have a pound of fudge in the freezer that I haven't touched! I am so proud of myself!)

2 years ago I successfully lost about 25 lbs on South Beach but became a bit too "comfortable" with my better half and have since gained it back. I've tried getting back on the beach a few times since then but didn't survive very long.
