Hello, everyone! Can you believe that it's the end of October already?! We can't! We're excited to be getting ready for DD's first Halloween. Since her Daddy nicknamed her "bunny" while I was pregnant, that's what we decided her first costume should be.
DD is now 2 months old, almost 2 1/2, actually, and is ADORABLE! She has started "talking" and likes to tell us stories when she gets home from daycare. I am back at work full-time and hate being away from her, but love that we have a routine that, for the most part, works out every day. She sleeps through the night now, from about 11:30 - 6:00, and is just a wonderful baby. She is very happy and rarely fusses and we know how very blessed we are to have such an easy-going first child.
I am still losing weight while eating rather carelessly (yay for breastfeeding!), but know that there is going to be a point where I balance out and plateau. In preparation for that, I'm going to start walking again after work at least 3 times a week and we are going to start really focusing on making time for healthier food choices. I intend to head back to the beach in the next few months also since P3 is a perfectly healthy way for a BFing Momma to eat.
I hope you are all well and am hoping to get back into the daily chat to catch up with everyone soon! Happy Halloween!!

Gosh, she's adorable! Time is passing very quickly...I'll bet you have a bizillion pictures! Thanks for checking in with us and glad to hear you are all doing so well!
Wow she is beautiful! Did you say she sleeps through the night!?! How lucky you are! My 2 year old just started sleeping thru the night, I'm so jealous lol.
Sucks having to return to work so soon doesn't it?
Don't forget to post those bunny pics.
Thanks so much, everyone!! We, of course, think she's gorgeous, but it's nice to have you lovely ladies confirm it for us.
mzKiki: She does sleep through most nights. She wakes up for a feeding in the middle of the night, between 2 and 4 am, twice a week at most. It is such a blessing!!
Here are the pictures of L in her bunny costume. She absolutely hated it. It was hilarious trying to get it on her, as you can see from the first picture. Oh well, at least she won't remember it. The costume was HUGE, so I'm fairly certain she'll be able to wear it in 2012. Thank goodness! Kids' costumes are expensive nowadays!!
