Split Pea Soup
 

I'm really, really, really!!! Craving split pea soup. I was going to make a batch and freeze individual portions in these cute cups I got from the dollar store. But then I thought peas are kind of starchy aren't they? Is split pea soup allowed on Phase 1? I would be the only person eating it so if peas are an occasional allowance then it wouldn't be worth it to make.

I remember reading that peas aren't allowable on Phase 1, mzkiki, as they are too starchy. I am using the older version of the diet though so it might have been changed...

Maybe someone else can clarify?

YUM, just got my pot on the stove! I have had a bag of split peas hanging around that I kept forgetting to use so this chilly morning and this thread was great motivation to make it! Thanks! :)

How did it come out RDW? I never did make it lol. I opted for the broccoli Cheese soup instead.
