  • Share all your non-scale victories here! They are as important as the numbers ya know!

  • I'll kick it off.

I noticed that my normal bath towels now fit around me. Not completely but they cover me enough now that I don't have to place my dirty clothes against me to block the huge gap!
  • I tried on some Size 16 pants that were waiting to be shortened and they are too big. I am definitely a size 14 butt now. (That makes me feel so good after seeing the scale up this morning.)
  • I am now fitting comfortably into all the work pants that were just hanging in my closet but not being worn because they were too small. It has opened up so many options each morning when I get dressed, I can pick from about 6 "new" pairs that I hadn't worn in a couple years! It puts me in a good mood from the start of the day when I enjoy getting dressed again.
  • I am finally feeling trimmer, especially in my midsection. I fit into a pair of pants that I've been avoiding for a while. And my arms are looking less flabby and more fantastic!
  • all such great accomplishments!

    I agree!

Yesterday I talked DH into taking a short hike on a trail we'd never tried. It was 1/2 mile and once we got started it got steep. I made it all the way and coming down I couldn't believe how steep it was! I used to have a hard time walking up a flight of stairs!
  • I have a pair of size 10 pants that when I started this diet had my buttcheeks sliding down into the legs a bit (cause of being tight) and now I am fitting them very comfortably~!
  • Great job all!

I am wearing a shirt I used to have to wear with a sweater over all last winter because it was too tight - sans sweater!
  • Today we took our grandson to the local fair. I met a daughter and mother (93) that I know and the mother said - Are you losing weight? and then turned to my husband and said - she is isn't she. Both of them are very involved in the fair and daughter said, mother is in antiques (she is actually judging them). Still lives on her own and drives a car. I want to be like her when I grow up.
    take care
    Sophie
  • My violet corduroy suit fits and the jacket buttons properly.
  • Love reading these! Please keep posting them! I was trying to think of something I could contribute here.
Even tho I am at a stand still with my weight (I think it is from stress at work), I recognize that it is OK to stall and that I am still working the program WITHOUT beating myself up over the stuck scale.
