ugh tired sad and cranky post-funeral. also starving! no sbd food to be found at the luncheon.chessa of course just cheated because she's really only on it to support me. I ate ham and some fruit, then stopped at the store quick and picked up amy's organics brown rice and beans soup which looks ok to me? also got ham and co jack and made an open face on whole wheat bread, much more op than the sandwiches, pasta salads and cakes there! it was sad, and I think we really are both just ready for a nap.

Amy - Hope all goes smoothly tomorrow

Rose - So sad

Anna - Welcome!

DH and I road bikes for two hours late morning and over lunchtime; it was beautiful outside. Spent all afternoon with an elderly friend who is having some belly pain. Took her first to her doctor then to the hospital for tests. Hopefully she'll hear tomorrow and it is nothing serious. She is 89 and legally blind and still volunteers at the hospital twice a week. Amazing woman. Tried a new crock pot meal that was less than thrilling but nice to come home after the long day to have it ready.

Anyone watching the new Biggest Loser season?

seabiscuit, good luck on your surgery, and by this time tomorrow, it will be over.

Pearlrose, that's such sad news about your friend's son. I'm sorry. It makes us want to hold our loved ones a bit closer, doesn't it?
