So, I got the chia and we love the chia, however, it says there is 5.0g of fat per serving?? Is that right? And should we be eating this that much? The service size say 15g(heaping tbsp) so I'm wondering if its a different unit of measurement?? I'm lost, please help! I've looked in a few threads about chia and no mention of the fat content.
The serving size of flax is 3T so I'd guess about the same because the numbers are similar. Personally, if I just have 1T in my smoothie I don't count it but if I have chia pudding than I do count it as a nut/seed serving. This is just my random assessment though, not based on anything factual It's one place where calorie counting as back-up helps me.
