Desiroo, it's very confusing as you learn to read the labels. It's not just you...the companies manipulate the info so it looks better than it really is.
corn syrup solids are just that...the corn syrup (high fructose corn syrup) that there is such controversy over. They are definitely known to induce cravings. Partially hydrogenated soybean or corn oil are TRANS FATS. What they do with both in this circumstance is keep them under a certain amount so they can say 0 in a serving, but they are there.
If you start looking in crackers, cookies, all kinds of foods, you'll find "partially hydrogenated" and that means TRANS FAT everytime.
This is what I've done regarding creamer (which is technically not OP). I use either Silk Soy creamer or the coconut creamer. Both add cane sugar, which is better than HFCS. I have two servings in the morning with coffee and limit it to that. I've been on SBD long enough to know it doesn't cause cravings for me, and I'm willing to substitue that to get rid of HFCS and especially Trans Fats.
