Default How often does everyone exercise?

Just curious? I try to get at least 45 minutes a day on the elliptical and every other day with strength training but its just so hard with our hectic schedules to do it every single day.

Today I decided to move my living and bedroom furniture around and do a "fall" lol cleaning. I thought I am taking a day off from the ellipitcal because i'm going to be working all day in the house - and i feel guilty! I've been losing at a great pace and I am afraid if i dont do "workouts" every other day it will stop.

Well, I exercise 4 to 5 times a week, generally only during the weekdays and I give myself the weekends off. This will be a run around the block (maybe a 1/2 mile) and some crunches or arm/shoulder dumbbell exercises. I do this first thing in the mornings, otherwise it just doesn't get done.

Additionally I do horse riding 3 to 4 times a week, but I've been doing that for so long that I don't really count it anymore (I've got the muscles developed, and it gets me out of breath maybe once every two weeks).

I try to exercise 5-6 times a week. I usually take weekends off to recoup. Also, by taking a break, I don't get burnt out.

I don't have a job or young kids so I have no excuse not to work out every day

I do something 5 days a week, for sure. My classes are all 1 hr.
M-Water Yoga
T-Water aerobics
W-Low impact aerobics
Th and F-Water aerobics

My alternate at home is recumbent bike or walking videos. From April to September I ride my bike outdoors quite a bit.

If I'm going to miss a day I make an effort to do something for 10 minutes.

It's working for me long term so I don't let myself feel bad if I miss a few days because it's part of my lifestyle now.

So after rearranging all the furniture in the bedroom and living and then arranging the furniture back to where it was in the living room becuase my husband and I werent too thrilled with the new look I decided to get on the eliptical. Forty five minutes later I am soooo happy I did!!

4-5x a week, running at a pretty intense effort for 30-45 minutes. Once the snow comes I'm going to head indoors and ramp up the strength training as well.

I play roller derby and get a good workout from that. However there are only two 3 hour practices a week and I can't always make them. I'm joining a gym today

7 days a week, but only for the past month. I'm doing the P90X program and it's a 6 day a week program but then I usually walk or go hiking on Sundays. I'm averaging 9 hours of exercise a week right now. At first I didn't see HOW I was going to fit that much exercise into my schedule, but what I found was that I was goofing off on the computer a lot in the evenings and I cut out my computer time. My Frontierville (ha ha) is suffering but I found time to exercise and then some. I even go to bed an hour earlier right now to help compensate for all the add'l exercise.

Its very challenging to have a daily routeen exercise, you will be breaking it more often than when you would go for a three or four days plan that is scheduled for 30 minutes per session. You can add an additional session on your will but you will ever feel encouraged and confident as you push on your practice.

I need to work on this. I'm the worst at keeping up with exercise.
