Hi All!! I have been a member on 3fc forever it feels like
I am new to the whole south beach thing. I started on 8.1.2011 and honestly after this past 5 days I have started to notice the bad relationship that I had with food.
I know its only officially been 5 days but it has been SUCH A WAKE UP CALL!! It all makes too much sense, and it is such a liberating feeling to know that I FINALLY HAVE CONTROL OVER FOOD, not the other way around.
I started SB because I was down and depressed and 4 years ago my brother was able to lose 125 pounds on atkins. I remember someone telling me why SB was more beneficial, and i bought the book (years ago) and last week I was so just fed up with being so destructive with eating that I pulled the book from storage and read straight through it. I made up my mind that Monday was the day that I would CHANGE my life. So. Here I am. I have been looking around in the thread all week, the recipes, and tips but havent posted anything, until now.
I post alot in the 100+ club and am looking forward to posting here often.
I went from eating out every night for dinner to cooking each night...I have lost 5.6 pounds in 5 days on Phase 1. I am not craving bread, noodles, rice, chocolate, cake, cookies, or anything else that had control over me last week.
Anyway! Enough of rambling!!! It is nice to meet you all!!
