Phase 1, Day 2 - New
Hi everyone. I am on Phase 1, day 2. Day one went well but I feel better prepared for today. I don't think I ate enough yesterday. For about 2 months now I have been working out at teh gym but still stuffing my face. I have done SB before but strayed after Phase 1 and I am hoping for better results this time. I would like to lose about 21lbs. The hardest part for me is not being able to have beer. We have gotten into the habit of having a few after we put the kids down at night! I suppose that would be a good time to get in some extra cardio instead!

Looks like we have a lot in common. Our height/weight/and goal weight are almost identical. I am also on day 2 of phase one, and I just posted a whole thread about beer, lol! Anyway, welcome and glad to see you

Hi there!
Or have water instead! Extra water always helps me, especially before a weigh in day!

Welcome! I can't help you with this one because I've long preferred to eat my calories than drink them

, nsimpter! We're happy to have you joining us and glad you are off to a good start. Beer is not allowed on this plan in any Phase, but you may have wine once you get to Phase 2, if that helps. For now, how about substituting your usual beer for an iced coffee or chai tea, instead? Serve it in a tall glass and make it special, and it will give you something to look forward to at the end of the day.

Someone pointed out to me in my other thread, that on the updated food list you are allowed 1 light beer during phase 2. It does say on occasion though, not daily, so just keep that in mind

We have similar stats! I started in February at 162! You can do this, and in a few months you will be so happy with yourself when you stick to it.
