Default Quick intro - I start tomorrow
I just wanted to introduce myself real quick before bed. I joined this forum a few years back and really enjoyed it. I got married last Sept and apparently that happiness has all gone to my waist line, 20 lbs worth (oops). Anyway, I have the newer South Beach Diet Supercharged book, and I am starting phase 1 tomorrow. Wish me luck! I look forward to getting to know you all. Have a great evening.

I started gaining when I got married...it happened quickly. I have to accept that I can't eat like my DH can and I've had to learn lots of distraction techniques to get through his every evening snackfest. I've worked really hard at coming up with menus that we can both eat and yet I can stay OP. It's working better for us both now.

The same thing happened to me... in the year after I got married I gained 30 lbs! (desk job, not exercising as much and too much eating out. hehe)
