So I'm in the middle of day 4 of phase 1. So far I've been PERFECT. Not even a little slip.

I've thankfully had no flu but I've been feeling sluggish and irritable. Everytime someone says something to me I want to shout "I HAVEN'T HAD ANY SUGAR IN 4 DAYS LEAVE ME ALONE!!" This is alot harder than I remember it being when I first did phase 1 a few years ago.

In good news I'm down 3 pounds.

Breakfast: Sirloin steak with green and red peppers
Snack: FF greek yogurt w/cinnamon, vanilla and splenda. Also a cheese stick.

P1.5

B: FF Greek Yogurt with Unsweetened Applesauce
S: Cheese string
L: Hard Boiled Egg and Spinach Salad
D: Chicken Caesar Wrap, 1/2 cup tortilla soup and a few fries

I'm leaving for a 3 week vacation tomorrow and so had no time to cook. Decided to grab a chicken caesar wrap and some soup. Forgot to ask for no tortilla strips in the soup. Stole some fries from DH. The entire time I was eating the wrap and fries I thought it tasted pretty crappy. And then I felt bloated the rest of the night, like I gained 5000lbs. I'm hoping that when I finally go to p2 that regular whole grains like oatmeal or brown rice don't make me feel so bloated.

lol @ unfortunate. hope today is better. enjoy those blueberries!

DH ordered chinese food last night. I wanted to split an eggroll with him, so I split it in half, took one bite, decided it wasn't worth it and actually didn't eat it. Usually I'll do that, then eventually sneak another bite...and another...and another.

Feeling 100% better this morning. I do feel a little lacking in nutrients though.

-
P2

1: smoothie (blueberries, 1/2 banana, kale, lemon juice, ginger, unsweetened tart cherry juice, coconut water)
2: vinegar based cabbage slaw, caramelized onions, grilled chicken
3: lemon sorbet (not on plan)
4: grilled chicken, garlicky kale

exercise: 60 min. zumba, upper body strength training

Just took my daughter to the movies and didn't eat any movie theater popcorn...I was very proud and had to state it here! She had a whole bag...me, not a single piece! And, I didn't even seem to crave it! I am terribly proud of myself

Great Job RyleesMommy Sometimes I have days like those where I'm a diet ninja and nothing can tempt me.

Today is day 5 of phase 1. i'm finally starting to feel somewhat human. I'm going to attempt to start running again. My expectations are low. I've heard eating low carb will make me take a step back.

I've found I struggle with running on weeks I lose, the calorie deficit just drains my energy. Contrastingly I do great on weeks I basically maintain.
